Goodhue to host Team Sections on Valentine’s Day
The Goodhue Wrestling Team takes on the #5/#12 seed winner this Thursday night in Goodhue. As the #4 seed, the Goodhue team has a first round bye and will see that round’s winner in the quarter finals. The winner will advance to the semi-finals that take place on Saturday at the Mayo Civic Center.

The order of events will go as follows:
4:30 p.m. – gym setup
5:00 – weigh-ins
6:00 – First Round:#5 Lake City vs. #12 Hayfield
7:00 – Goodhue vs. winner from first round
So come on out and support a great group of student-athletes! Tell a friend and give the wrestlers a great home crowd – Goodhue hasn’t hosted as a top 4 seed since 2006!
Goodhue #4; Team Section Seeds Announced
Goodhue Wrestling has earned the #4 Seed in Section 1A for 2013. The top 4 seeds are the host sites for Thursday night, so we will be wrestling one more time at home this season!
The Goodhue team will face the winner of #5 seed Lake City vs. #12 seed Hayfield. That dual will be at 6:00 p.m., and we will face the winner at approximately 7:00 p.m.
HVL JV Tourney Info
The Goodhue Junior Varsity wrestlers will close out their competitive season at the HVL JV Tournament this Saturday, February 9. Lake City hosts this tournament, which is scheduled to begin again this year at 10:00 a.m.

Bus Departure: 7:30 a.m.
Weigh-ins: 8:00
Allowance: growth + 2 pounds (106=110)
Weight Classes: 93, 98, + 106-HWT
Tourney Start: 10:00 a.m.
2/8 Home Tri vs La Crescent/Stewartville
The end of the regular season is here. In a rescheduled triangular from the weather cancellation on December 20th, the Goodhue Wrestling team will close the regular season at home against La Crescent and Stewartville.
The order of the duals will be:
5:00 Goodhue vs. La Crescent
6:30 La Crescent vs. Stewartville
8:00 Goodhue vs. Stewartville
