The triangular in Hayfield, scheduled for tonight but canceled due to school weather cancellations, has been rescheduled to next Tuesday, February 5th. The dual order/times will remain the same.

Also, the Robbinsdale Armstrong Duals have moved up their weigh-in times. We will need to leave at 6:00 a.m. now instead of 6:15 a.m.

Update:

Due to all 3 schools being closed on account of the weather, the triangular at Hayfield has been postponed. We have all been working on a date to re-schedule it, but there is no easy answer at this point due to schedule constraints as it is late in the season.

For a rare Tuesday event, the Goodhue Wrestling Team travels to Hayfield for a triangular to square off against two Section 1A opponents. We should face the Dover-Eyota Eagles in the 5:00 dual, and then take on Hayfield at approximately 6:30.

After Tuesday, we travel once more to the western suburbs of the Twin Cities for 3 duals at Robbinsdale Armstrong. This event is for Varsity and its alternates as well as JV-level wrestlers (no Jr. High wrestlers). The JV will be put into 4-man round robin brackets and wrestle on two separate mats. The event starts at 9:00, with duals scheduled to start approximately 2 hours apart.

The Goodhue Varsity Wrestling Team travels to Robbinsdale Cooper High School for 3 duals this Saturday, January 25th. The Jr. High/JV will have the Saturday off from competition.

On Saturday, January 19, all non-Varsity wrestlers will be going to the Chatfield JV Tournament. This is a full-fledged Junior Varsity Tournament, meaning all 7-12 wrestlers without significant Varsity experience are able to participate.

The Goodhue Wrestling Program will be hosting Triton on Thursday, January 17th. We will also be recognizing the parents that provide so much critical support to the wrestlers, the events, and the club and program (thank you!). The J.V. will wrestle at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Parents Night Ceremony. The Varsity dual should start around 7:15 p.m.
